Indiana faced a wounded, reeling Minnesota squad today in The Barn, a house of horrors for IU in the past, and the Hoosiers did exactly what they needed to do: win in dominant fashion.
Indiana won 69-50, buoyed by balanced scoring and relatively effective defense against a Golden Gopher team that showed little interest in putting up a fight. And the best news? Jordan Hulls and Christian Watford got going again, which is a great sign for Indiana headed into Tuesday’s night battle in Bloomington against Michigan State.
And, of course, we broke it all down on the latest episode of The Assembly Call.
One highlight of today’s show: we break down the similarity between Victor’s numbers over the last six games (starting with Purdue when he became a focal point of the offense) and Dwyane Wade’s numbers as a sophomore under Tom Crean. They are a lot closer than you might think.
